Moveworks was created in 2016 on the premise of IT service transformation. Our founders recognized a common, fundamental problem with enterprise operations — excessive time lost due to resolving routine support requests. They realized most issues could be easily resolved with an AI Assistant that has a better understanding of natural, conversational language.

CEO and co-founder
Bhavin Shah has spent 25+ years taking companies from inception to scale. Prior to Moveworks, he was CEO of Refresh.io, which was acquired by LinkedIn in 2015. He has an MA in Education, Technology & Business from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science from UCSD.
CTO and co-founder
Vaibhav Nivargi oversees core infrastructure and platform functions at Moveworks. Prior to Moveworks, Vaibhav founded ClearStory Data and was also one of the early engineers at Aster Data, a pioneering big data company acquired in 2011. He has an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
President and co-founder
Varun Singh oversees product, customer success, and professional services at Moveworks. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering & Design Optimization from the University of Maryland and an MS in Engineering & Applied Mathematics from UCLA.
CTO of AI and co-founder
Jiang Chen oversees machine learning at Moveworks. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale and more than a decade of experience in engineering leadership at Google, Airbnb, and Yahoo!
